I have always found the most inspiration and wisdom from the women in my family, particularly my mother, my grandmother and my aunt Melissa, for whom I am named. Their stories, habits, gestures and sayings have shaped my personality. Their courage and strength have carried me. These are the women who I most aspire to be like.
