I came across several delectable news stories today, I'd thought I'd share.
Seed saving is an ancient activity that promises a bountiful harvest for future generations. But as it is described in this NY Times article, seed-saving is a difficult and disappearing activity.
Picture this. A woman flees Paris at the start of WWII, never to return. She died this year at the ripe old age of 91 and the executors of her will found her apartment, untouched since that fateful day. The dusty treasures found inside include a portrait of Boldini of the apartment's grandmother, worth millions. Truly out of a fairytale. Read the full story here.
Finally, a little music for your morning. I can't get this song out of my head.
