On Friday night, my friends and I saw the Pacific Northwest Ballet perform George Balanchine's Jewels. It was breathtaking. Jewels is an abstract ballet that was inspired by the three golden ages of dance and Balanchine's favorite prima ballerinas. The costumes were the best part. You should go see it -- especially if you are in Seattle. Tickets were only $12.50 if you are under 25.
